What do I do?

Lots of things, I would say I'm a maker or creator. I have lots of hobbies and intrests that come and go, I'll list the big ones for you;

I like writting and making worlds! I would like to write a short story once a month.

I want to own the music I like and cassette tapes are a way to do that, so I collect them!

I host and play a lot of TTRPGs. Sometimes I'll even talk about it here.

I just got into film photography and it's slowly taken over my time, and wallet...

What is this place?

A blog? Portfolio maybe? It's hard to say right now what this place is. I want it to be a platform for me, unrestricted, free and creative. Where I can talk about the things I like and showcase the stuff I make to the world!

My other Socials?

Not a fan of social media so not a lot of links. The pages I use are more like tools with spesific use cases, but if you want to see more click away!

Dear Nostalgia

Dear Nostalga,
  I find myself reflecting. A reflection on what you once were, a place where chaos was but a whisper, and simplicity reigned. Your essence is tethered to a time before screens flickered and fingers slapped keys, when the world felt more grounded and real.

In your past, lay a deep connection between art and heart. The act of creating something tangible; be it a piece of clay shaped by hands or a painting brushstrokes. It was a meditation on life's essence. Each creation was a window into one's soul, a testament to the time invested in crafting beauty.

Your mind is a treasure trove of such memories. I recall the quiet joy of holding something made by hand, each imperfection a story of effort and love. Tangibility of art brings a sense of presence, a reminder that not all things are created equal. Some hold onto our hearts because they resonate with an authenticity. Authenticity that we lose to digital waves.

As time has marched on, your connection waned, but it remains etched in my soul. The fire of crafting is extinguished only by understanding its value. Each piece of art is more than a physical object; it's a bridge to the self, a reflection of our innermost thoughts and feelings.

In our age of screens and digital distractions, where screens flicker like old photographs and fingers glide across keyboards, we acknowledge the reality of this world. Yet, as much as we embrace technology for its many benefits, we refuse to let it erase the essence of what once was—the connection that handcrafted art holds dear. These physical creations remind us of a time when life felt more grounded, when each stroke and shape told a story steeped in love and effort. We choose not to lose sight of this truth; instead, we cherish these memories as a testament to an authenticity that cannot be replicated purely through digital means. In their simplicity and humanity, these handcrafted pieces hold the key to our innermost thoughts and feelings, guiding us back to a place where the meaningfulness of creation is paramount. Let them remind us that while technology evolves, it is our refusal to let go that preserves this profound truth—our connection to what was once real.

So let this letter be a gentle reminder, cherish those moments when you engage with handcrafted treasures. They hold memories, connections, and a sense of peace that digital age cannot replace. May they guide you back to a time before screens and distractions, where the simple things held all our essence.
